“THE TERRAPLANES ARE A BAND AT THE VERY HEART OF THE BRITISH BLUES SCENE!”

About The Terraplanes bluesband:
Formed in 2013 as a duo, Nick Scrase and Eduardo Allen shared a love of authentic delta blues when they met during an open mic night in Bristol. The pair took their name from the first record ever released by legendary bluesman and huge influence of both..Robert Johnson. Luckily for them, Bristol has a great amount of venues for all genres and they quickly started making appearances at small pubs and acoustic showcases. In 2014 Nick and Ed had residency at Under The Stars, a harbourside boat/bar, played the Oxjam Festival and the famous MOLES CLUB in Bath. Around the end of 2014, the songs that Scrase was writing were more suited to a four piece so they started to look for musicians to form the band.

Tom Turner played his first gig with the band in 2015 and has been the permanent drummer ever since. The local music circuit is where they cut their teeth. The first songs written by The Terraplanes were The Rambler and Voodoo Blues. These two tracks became the staple Terraplanes sound and would go on to be part of the Midnight Train E.P released May 2020. In 2022 The Terraplanes release there first full album Stepping Stones.
