Ian Siegal All The Rage album tour

News from Ian Siegal

“I am thrilled to be able to tell you that the band and I will be touring a new album in 2018. Called All The Rage the album releases March 19 and the tour starts in the UK on April 11. We will then be in The Netherlands and other European countries.
This is the first studio album I have done with Dusty, Danny and Raphael. Took four years to get there! My good friend and duo partner Jimbo Mathus came over from the US to produce the album, which we recorded in Amsterdam. I have always admired the way Jimbo helped to shape the sound of Buddy Guy’s Sweet Tea album, real and honest! Although a very different production style to ours, the raw, live approach was very much our remit. The guys did a fantastic job in the studio. Having worked together for four years there was a lot of telepathy involved. Incidentally, the title All The Rage is a play on words in (ironic) reference to being super-popular but (more-so) a response to the seemingly endless injustices in the world … the current political climate being a particular concern.”

“I am really looking forward to getting on the road and playing the new material for you. On the UK tour we will have a fantastic young band from Rotterdam opening for us. They’re called DAWN BROTHERS. I have been evangelical about this band ever since I first saw them earlier this year! Yes, they’re that good. Old school but also contemporary. Think Creedence Clearwater Revival, Otis Redding, The Band, and you’re in Dawn Brothers’ territory.”
