Live At Grossmans – 1994 captures the Jeff Healey Band at their best and includes classic cover versions of Lennon & McCartney’s Yer Blues, Jimi Hendrix’s Voodoo Child (Slight Return) and Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower. This CD release was recorded at Grossmans Tavern in Toronto on the 22nd and 23rd April 1994. The Jeff Healey Band were at the height of their success, especially in their native Canada where they had registered a string of 10 hit singles between 1990 and 1994.

Blind from when he was just a few months old due to a rare inherited form of cancer, Jeff Healey developed a unique style of guitar playing with the instrument flat across his lap that in turn gave him an instantly recognisable style and sound. He died from further cancer problems in 2008 at the tragically early age of 41.
