Larkin Poe, de multi-instrumentalistische zussen Rebecca en Megan Lovell – hebben hun nieuwste single ‘Little Bit’ gedeeld, die nu verkrijgbaar is via hun eigen Tricki-Woo Records. Een officiële muziekvideo van Little bit gaat 6 december in première op YouTube. Het nummer, waarin Rebecca hartstochtelijk zingt over aanwezig, aandachtig en in het moment zijn, luidt het langverwachte nieuwe album van Larkin Poe, Bloom, in, dat op vrijdag 24 januari 2025 verschijnt.
“Vanaf het begin voelt het alsof we in de verleiding zijn gekomen om voorovergebogen te leven”, zegt Rebecca Lovell. “Als tourende muzikanten hebben we een pedal-to-the-metal-cultuur met een hoog octaangehalte gecultiveerd, maar de glans is langzaam van dat centje af. ‘Little Bit’ gaat helemaal over vertragen en genieten van de kostbare kleine details, zoals de tekst zegt: ‘meer is niet altijd meer dan een klein beetje.’”
