Gov’t Mule heeft een nieuwe single uitgebracht genaamd “Made My Peace”. Het nummer is van het aanstaande 12e studioalbum van de band, Peace… Like A River, dat op 16 juni verkrijgbaar is.

‘Made My Peace’ is een van de eerste nummers die de band opnaam voor dit nieuwe album en toont de meeste Beatles-invloed die we ooit op een opname hebben gebruikt,” zei Warren Haynes. “Het behandelt veel verschillende aspecten van wat we allemaal hebben meegemaakt. Het raakt aan de emoties waar ik doorheen moest met het verlies van mijn vader, die een buitengewoon belangrijke figuur in mijn leven was. Er zijn verschillende nummers die reflecteren op verlies, maar meer op een manier om de toekomst te laten tellen. De rest van je leven nemen en ernaar kijken met een frissere, meer agressieve, positieve houding.
