All the way from Tropical Costa Rica and for the first time in Europe… International Blues Artist Jose Ramírez European Tour 2018 !
Jose has played with some of the biggest names in the industry including Anson Funderburgh, Mark Hummel, Marquise Knox, Bryan Lee, Shawn Holt, Albert Castiglia etc. Jose has also played some of the best Blues clubs in the United States including Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago and The Bradfordville Blues Club in Florida. Big Blues festivals like the Washington DC Blues Festival and the Bonita Springs Blues Festival in Florida. Come check him out!

Jose Ramirez is a 29 year old Blues singer/guitar player who came to America in January of 2016 all the way from San Jose Costa Rica. ( now back in Costa Rica since March 2017 )
For over 10 years, Jose developed a Blues scene in his country, starting his first band when i was 17 and producing various Blues events and festivals where he had the chance to meet and play with musicians such as, Smokin’ Joe Kubek, Bnois King, Debbie Davies and John Carey.
Jose also created and hosted Costa Rica’s only BluesJam for over 3 years in a row before he came to America to follow his dream to play The Blues.
When he came to America, he met FL based singer Lauren Mitchell and she hired him to play guitar in her band.
Together they played some of the best Blues festivals in FL including the Bonita Springs Blues Festival sharing the bill with Shawn Holt and Sonny Landreth and also the Pompano Mess’ O’ Blues Festival sharing the bill with Eric Gales and Coco Montoya.
The band also toured through Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Washington DC, Ohio and most recently Chicago, where they played the world famous Buddy Guy’s Legends on December 8th 2016.
Also, Jose played guitar on Lauren Mitchell’s new record recorded in LA with grammy award winner and producer Tony Braunagel and with Jim Pugh on the organ/piano, Reggie McBride on bass, Josh Skliar on guitar, Johnny Lee Schell on guitar and Tony Braunagel on Drums.
After a year of working with Lauren, Jose is now working on his own band, The Jose Ramirez Project.
The Jose Ramirez Project is an up & coming band that is already booking for some of the best Blues Venues in the USA including Buddy Guy’s Legends and BB King’s Blues Club which will be part of their Summer Tour in July 2018.
Jose has been invited to play in The Netherlands in January 2018 and also he will be playing the Panama Blues & Jazz Festival in February 2018.
This past year, Jose has been invited to share the stage with musicians such as, JW Jones, Bryan Lee, Marquise Knox, Anson Funderburgh, Mark Hummel, Albert Castiglia, Shawn Holt and Tom Holland.
