De veertiende editie van TakeRoot trok dit jaar ruim 2000 bezoekers. Verspreid over vier podia zag het publiek een mooie mix van gevestigde en nieuwe namen in het Americana / singer-songwriter / bluesy genre.

Volgens velen was naast het optreden van The Tallest Man On Earth de terechte ‘winnaar’ van de avond Pokey LaFarge. Met zijn band The South City Three nam hij het uitbundige publiek mee, zo’n tachtig jaar terug naar de Mississippi streek. Heerlijk zo’n sfeertje…
