“Barrel of a Gun” came about in the purest way possible during the last sessions at Steakhouse Studios. After an intense day of tracking and filming, me and the boys decided to blow off some steam in the live room by playing some heavy blues. My guitar had been tuned to Drop C for the previous song, so I kept it that way and joined my rhythm section on a heavy blues groove. As we played, ideas were flying around the room and luckily for us the tapes were running back in the control room. Out of this, “Barrel of a Gun” was born!” – Eric Steckel
