THE NEW SINGLE FROM THE ALBUM “DEAR SILENCE THIEVES”

South African singer-songwriter and guitarist Dan Patlansky has today launched the official music video for “Fetch Your Spade”, the second single taken from his critically acclaimed album Dear Silence Thieves. Watch and/or embed the official music video here:

Patlansky was recently featured as one of “The Bluesmen” to look out for in Classic Rock’s “The Class of 2015” with the magazine calling Dear Silence Thieves “a real firecracker.”

Patlansky started 2014 off with a bang when he was chosen to open for Bruce Springsteen in front of 64.000 people at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg in February on his High Hopes tour. Personally approved by Springsteen as support act, this was the biggest audience Patlansky had ever played to.

Never far from likeminded genius, guitarist, singer/songwriter and globally respected purveyor of the blues, Dan Patlansky, is hailed as one of the world’s finest blues-based storytellers of his generation.

Dan Patlansky has been confirmed as Joe Satriani’s special guest on his “Shockwave” November UK tour.
Following the Satriani tour, Patlansky will perform concerts at Planet Rockstock Festival in Treco Bay, Wales on Friday 4th December, and will finish the year off with a headline show at London’s The Borderline on Saturday 5th December with special guest Aaron Keylock.
