The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were presented Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Performers included Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Lady Antebellum Gwyneth Paltrow and Cee Lo Green, Katy Perry and many more.
The duo of Pinetop Perkins and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith won the award for “Best Traditional Blues Album” for the pair’s tour de force, Joined At The Hip. Guitarist Buddy Guy took home his 7th Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Blues Album” for Living Proof.
