Ik kan beamen dat deze Thorbjorn Risager een mooie stem heeft. Het deed mij besluiten om de muziekcollectie te doorzoeken op Blues artiesten met een naam die Scandinavische aandoet. Zo´n twintig namen doken op en tijdens het beluisteren bleek een aantal een Amerikaan met een Scandinavisch aandoende naam. Daar was ik niet naar opzoek en, al luisterend bleef ik steken bij Sven Zetterberg. Zijn CD Southern soul agenda raakte mij in de ziel. Dit was soul, zo goed dat ik durf te stellen deze Sven Zetterberg de Zweedse Otis Redding is.

Omar & The Howlers - Too Much Is Not Enough is a completely different approach to Jimmy Reed and is now reissued as the inaugural title on the Omar Classics Series on Omar's Big Guitar Music label. This album also features Gary Clark, Jr. on several tracks.

The 5 CD super-deluxe edition of Wildflowers contains 70 tracks, 9 unreleased songs, and 34 unreleased versions. In addition to the 15 track original album, the deluxe edition contains the album All The Rest (10 songs from the original Wildflowers sessions), a disc of 15 solo demos recorded by Petty at his home studio, and an additional disc of 14 live versions of Wildflowers songs recorded from 1995 – 2017. Exclusive to the super-deluxe, this edition also includes a CD of 16 alternate versions recorded in the studio (“Finding Wildflowers”).
