After a long absence, Chicago master slide guitar and harp player Studebaker John will tour the European continent again! Renowned for his dazzling live shows, he’s ready to unleash his Chicago, boogie, swamp and swing blues onto the European blues and roots lovers. During this tour he wil present his new album The Maxwell Street King’s that was released on Delmark in October 2010.
During this tour Studebaker John will be backed by the The Mighty Gators, the reputated band of upcoming Belgian blues artist Lightnin’ Guy. This slide guitar and harp player is currently the most wanted roots acts in Belgium and is ready to knock on Europe’s Blues door. Always delivering an energetic, real and intense live show. The tour is set up as a double bill: a first acoustic warm-up set by Lightnin ‘Guy and a long second set by Studebaker John.
At the end of the concert Studebaker John & Lightnin’ Guy will join forces & play together. This surely will result in a Chicago slide guitar climax.
