Dat was even schrikken toen de harde schijf met daarop de nieuwe CD van Ruben Hoeke kapotging en een half jaar werk was verdwenen. Maar Ruben ging niet bij de pakken neerzitten en nam in een maand alles opnieuw op en 24 maart 2010 wordt zijn nieuwe CD aan het publiek gepresenteerd! De titel van deze nieuwe schijf is COEXIST!

Jo’ Buddy & Down Home King III : Nieuwe Release + Tour

Het Finse duo, zanger/gitarist “Jo Buddy” en drummer “Down Home King III” timmerde al enkele jaren aan de weg voordat hun debuut “GRITS & RATTLES” in 2006 in hun eigen land een ware hype ontketende. Van dit behoorlijk geslaagde debuut had in de rest van Europa echter zo goed als niemand gehoord, totdat ze in 2008 met de opvolger “WHOLE LOTTA THINGS TO DO” aantoonden geen ééndagsvlieg te zijn. In maart komt het 3e album uit en komen ze voor een tour naar Nederland!

The Wildcards 3rd studio album ‘WHEN THE MOON SHINES BRIGHT’ features brand new material written by band members Vince Lee and Martin Vowles.

Bobby Charles – Timeless (CD)

Laatste album Bobby Charles (R.I.P.) “Timeless” met niet eerder uitgebracht materiaal! Op deze laatste cd geproduceerd door Dr. John (co-producer) met Bobby Charles speelt naast Dr.John (piano, B3 organ and Wurlitzer) Sonny Landreth de lead guitar. Verdere medewerking verleenden onder meer ook gerenommeerde muzikanten als Derek Trucks en Jon Cleary(piano) en Beth McKee hun medewerking. De CD is door Bobby Charles opgedragen aan zijn muzikale inspiratie Fats Domino. Bobby Charles overleed op 14 januari jl. en heeft helaas het het uiteindelijk resultaat niet in zijn handen kunnen houden. Maar kon nog wel de definitieve CD ontwerp voor de CD goed keuren.

Oli Brown Band – Open Road

In januari 2008 ondertekend Oli Brown een contract bij Ruf Records en ging naar Duitsland om zijn eerste album, getiteld “Open Road”, uit te brengen in juni van het zelfde jaar. Het resulteerde in lovende recensies. Vanwege het geplande optreden van Oli Brown in De Boerderij te Zoetermeer op vrijdag 19 februari willen we toch nog een keer attenderen op het bestaan van dit jonge talent en deze release
