MICHAEL LEE FIRKENS Tour November 2009

Having released his first album in 1990, Michael Lee Firkins is best known as an electric guitar player whose style fuses blues, country, and jazz elements into a unique rock sound. He is noted amongst guitarists for his use of hybrid picking at high speeds as well as his original signature technique of emulating a slide guitar with the use of the tremolo arm. He is also a very accomplished slide player.

Firkins has won numerous awards and recognition since his emergence on the music scene. One of these honors, the prestigious Edison Award, is the equivalent of a Grammy in the Netherlands.

Michael Lee Firkins will be appearing with his band during November in the Netherlands.
