Lightnin’ Guy & the Mighty Gators, de band rond, zanger, slide gitarist & mondharmonica speler Guy Verlinde is alive & kicking! Na een succesvolle reeks zomer optredens, waaronder op het BRBF Peer, Bluesplein Eindhoven en Gouvy Jazz-blues Festival, zijn we klaar om in Vlaanderen en Nederland met onze vernieuwde show: blues and beyond rond te trekken; zowel klein, stomend in het café en club met de basis 4 mans-bezetting of voor grotere venues met de x-large bezetting aangevuld met Hammond en/of blazers.

• New Video’s uploaded: Op www.lightninguy.com kun je twee video’s bekijken die werden opgenomen tijdens ons optreden op het BRBF in Peer op 19 juli jongstleden.
• Blue Sting Records: Lightnin’ Guy & the Mighty Gators hebben nu een onderkomen gevonden bij het Blue Sting label van Parsifal Records in Brugge. Daarbij bevinden we ons nu in het goede gezelschap van o.a. Lousiana Red, Studebaker john, Big Jack Johnson
• Lightnin’ Guy  in Brazil: Van 29 september t.e.m. 3 Oktober 2009 speelt Lightnin’ Guy in São Paulo Brazilië.
• “Live from the Heart” nu online te koop: Ons live album is nu te koop op i-Tunes, Amazon, CD-Baby, Napster, … Support the band en download MP3’s of koop gewoon de volledige cd online.
• Toer Oostenrijk December ‘09: De band is opnieuw uitgenodigd voor een reeks concerten in Oostenrijk in December. Naast de normale shows zal Guy ook voor het eerst kleinere solo concerten geven op zijn dobro resonator gitaar & harp.
