feedback on the new record:
- Gary Reinhard / Bad Dog Blues @ WITR (USA): „Awesome cd! In my opinion, his best release to date“

The COLLECTIF DES RADIO BLUES is an international collective of radio shows/stations in France, Belgium, Quebec and Africa who share the idea to exchange, broadcast and promote all forms of blues music. Every quarter they compile a list based on the airplay of all participating shows/stations. BOO BOO DAVIS – NAME OF THE GAME is # 1 on the list of the 3rd Quarter of 2008.

Bill Wax told me he will start playing the new record for the next three months in his show (BB King’s BLUESVILLE) at XM RADIO (USA).

quote from the review in BLUES NEWS (Germany):
„Scharfkantig und tough, so klingt der Blues dieses Unikums aus Drew, Mississippi. Davis hat seinen eigenen, unverkennbaren Juke-Joint-Sound geschaffen. Nichts für schwache Nerven, aber fast ein Muss für Liebhaber des unverwässerten Mississippi-Blues.“

quotes form the review on NETRHYTHMS.CO.UK
„Boo Boo Davis is a true Delta bluesman and one of the last of his generation…. a top class album.“

On the Black and Tan site you’ll find a list of all radio stations (wordlwide) that are playing the new Boo Boo Davis record and all magazine / sites that have published a review (or at least the ones we know of). At the moment we are counting 110 radio stations and 26 websites/magazines in 20 different countries

Here are the dates and venues for the upcoming European tour. We’ll be touring in the same trio line up as on the new record; Boo Boo (vocals, harmonica), Johnnyboy (drums) and myself on guitar. Since the previous newsarticle we added another date in Norway (Buckleys in Oslo).
